My stock is now available to DA members only. One can join for free, so it should not be be a deterrent. I have already had many thousands of downloads, yet only a few hundred have sent links to where they have used my stock or commented at all.
Most of my Stock is RESTRICTED, meaning it may not be used in any commercial manner. This means NO DA PRINTS. All the same rules apply to both my RESTRICTED STOCK and COMMERCIAL STOCK except that the COMMERCIAL STOCK may be used to create pictures for sale, but not offered as stock for sale. Please read the entire rules and make sure you understand them. If you have a question, please ask.
Restricted Stock:
1.) Use my restricted stock to create non-commercial work only. The usage is not limited to the DA site only, just nothing for pay or connected to or linked in pages to a commercial activity. Do not repackage these images or derivations of them in any form and sell them or give them away. That having been said, you may use ANY of my stock as a REFERENCE for creating commercial work. that means look at it and use it as a guide to create drawings or paintings, not using my actual stock picture within your art.
2.) Do not use my stock for creating violent, hate, bloody, anti-religious, any anti-anybody pictures, nor for porn. Tasteful nudity is fine, but what you find tasteful I may not (look in my art gallery for example of tasteful nudity). Dark art tastefully done is fine.
3.) No DA prints. That would constitute commercial use.
4.) Refer others to my work here rather than share my stock elsewhere. Being featured with a link is fine.
5.) No creating new stock using my stock as part of it (with the exception of my commercial stock). No using my stock to create brushes for sharing with others.
6.) Credit me wherever you display work using my stock. On DA that means a link back to the page where that stock item is offered. Elsewhere that can be a link back to my main page if you prefer.
7.) Send me a link (in notes, comments at the stock item page, or on my main page) so I can enjoy whatever images you use my stock in. I will say that seeing my stock used nicely actually prompts me to make more stuff. (Yes, there are always more in the works!)
8.) Be creative with my stock. Do not simply use a filter or change color or some other simple steps and submit as art. Do not submit anything containing my stock to the "photo" section.
Commercial Use Stock:I have only one Commercial Use stock so far (rainbow PSD) and more will be added as time permits. You must follow all the same rules above with the exception that you may incorporate the Commercial Stock as a part of a more complex picture for commercial sale as finished artwork. This does not mean you are allowed to take Commercial Stock and claim it as your own, nor are you allowed to sell any of it as stock unless incorporated into pictures with a number of other elements to create entirely unique and new scenes. You may not create brushes with my stock, whether to give them away or to sell.
Have fun!
